Dall-5 Well I would have to say that most teams would have a hard time getting up for this game after the dismal fourth quarter collapse on saturday but the Mavs are a team that will bounce back with a vengeance. Nowitkski will make sure his team is ready and will put the team on his shoulders for this one. It is also clear that Roy isnt 100 percent even though he was huge in the fourth quarter on friday. I think as the series goes on he will be less effective even though he is the toughest player in the NBA.
Memph +1- It is clear to me that SA is in trouble in this series. In my eyes the edge goes to Memphis at PG and C. The two most important positions on the floor and the area where the Spurs usually have the advantage and exploit the other teams players. The Grizzlies can smell blood now and the Spurs will have to bring a whole lot of energy to keep up tonight. Do they have it in their tanks? Maybe in SA but not on the Grizzlies floor where Memphis will go up 3-1.
Okl City +3 The Thunder go for the sweep tonight on the Colorado Plateau. As I said in the series summary, the Nuggets got a bad match up in this on and that is what Denver Coach George Karl said after his team went down 0-3. Karl wanted Dallas in the first round and thought his Nuggets would have had a much easier time matching up against the Mavericks. The Thunder are a team that no one wants to see right now, they are a team with little weakness since addressing them in some high profile trades after the all star break. Look for the Thunder to put the demoralized Nuggets out of their misery tonight.
